Celebrities love to put their famous names on products to earn extra money. In fact, celebrity food deals are becoming more and more common. Almost every trendy food out there has a celebrity name attached! But just because there is a famous name attached to the food doesn't mean it tastes good. Take a look at these foods that are promoted by celebrities but aren't worth buying.

Halo top ice cream - Khloe K
The Kardashians are a controversial bunch, but thanks to their curvaceous and slim bodies, most people tend to fall for any food-related advice they give.
Halo Top Ice Cream is a low-calorie brand endorsed by Khloe K to accommodate health-conscious folks and dieters who just want to satisfy their sweet tooth. However, the ice cream reportedly has a weird texture and flavor, one that doesn’t mesh well with ice cream lovers. Coupled with the price, it’s not worth it.
Popchips - Katy Perry
Who wouldn’t love a food endorsed by this pop star? Popchips by Katy Perry are extremely popular, but they come with a dark side.
Introduced as a healthy version of crisps, pop chips quickly soared. But despite being a good alternative, they don’t taste that good and might have a tougher texture thanks to their unique cooking style (they aren’t fried, but ‘popped’). This can be off-putting for many foodies.
Diet Coke - Taylor Swift
Alright, most of us are Swifties, and we agree she has a significant influence on the younger generation, including her being a self-proclaimed Diet Coke drinker. But that’s kind of the problem.
Although Diet Coke is considered a healthier version of the regular one, it’s just a big misunderstanding. Diet Coke has no nutritional value and is acidic, just like regular cola. It’s also sweetened with aspartame, which has been linked to many health issues, including cancer.
Nespresso - Matt Damon
Although this is a relatively old endorsement (think the early 2010s), it’s extremely important because Matt Damon’s 20-second appearance boosted sales.
Nespresso has a high caffeine count, which is dangerous if consumed irresponsibly. This alone is a concerning factor since many were pushed into trying the brand just because of the endorsement. But Nespresso is also nutritionally dim, so it’s not an excellent food.
VitaHustle - Kevin Hart
Here’s the thing: some foods aren’t endorsed but funded by particular celebrities, and they may not always be as successful as we think, like VitaHustle. Vitahustle is a superfood that claims to boost immunity and energy, and it was founded by Kevin Hart, an amazing actor and comedian. But like other foods endorsed by celebrities, people are not taking this one well.
Vitamin water - 50 Cent
We’ve all got to agree vitamin water is probably the stupidest idea in existence. Sure, it may mean well, but it doesn’t do much, so it’s useless.
But when 50 Cent endorsed vitamin water, sales spiked to an all-time high. Many became avid drinkers of vitamin water, which is flavored artificially and may contain certain preservatives to enhance its shelf life, which ironically isn’t the best thing for us.
Sugarpova - Maria Sharapova
When an extraordinarily fit and fabulous tennis star introduces a healthy candy brand so you can eat away the guilt, you kind of have to get it.
But while the brand offers a non-GMO and natural candy bar, many have spoken up about its sugar content, which, you guessed it, is dangerously high. Many overeat guilt-free foods because it’s considered safe, which means they’re overeating the unhealthy ingredients too.
Quick trim fast shake - Kardashians
Okay, we must give the Kardashians credit because they seem to influence almost everything. And it’s honestly annoying.
The quick trim fast shake was endorsed by multiple Kardashians, but mainly Kim, who was known for a skinny figure at that time. We all know where this is headed: bad food relationships and body dysmorphia. While this protein shake witnessed intense sales initially, unfortunately, it was sued by some customers for false claims.
Cravings cookie bake mix - Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen frequently heads to the kitchen, so when she launched a boxed cookie bake mix, things were bound to get a little hectic.
But at the end of the day, cookies aren’t the healthiest foods, and nutritionally speaking, boxed mixes are a literal recipe for disaster. But that’s not the only thing. Jordan Rondell, a famous baker who collaborated with Teigen, accused her of stealing the recipe. Yikes!
Snickers - Mr. T
Mr. T is probably one of the most iconic OG actors. However, that bit of fame doesn’t mean he’s always doing the right thing.
Snickers are a delightful treat; how can you not like it, right? But it’s not the healthiest. Mr. T endorsed Snickers a few years ago, and boy, did that go haywire. Not only is Snickers unhealthy and loaded with sugar, but the content of the ad was also questionable. It was pulled for being offensive to the gay community.
Honey nut Cheerios - Nelly
Who would deny Nelly is an icon, and we love him? Right? Except that he’s endorsed a few questionable brands. Like honey nut cheerios.
Yes, we know, these have been popular for a long time, and they’re a primary breakfast option. Except they’re loaded with sugar and preservatives, so a famous musician endorsing them wasn’t the best idea. It’s just how quickly the public can be influenced to eat unhealthy foods that make it bad.
Heineken Light - Neil Patrick Harris
Neil Patrick Harris has been endorsing Heineken Light for years now. He has made millions off of this brand. If you love Neil, maybe you should try supporting him just by watching his shows rather than drinking his beer.
Heineken Light is alcohol and can be very damaging to your health. Also, Heineken Light has almost no flavor and is essentially like drinking weird, alcoholic water. Skip it. Sorry, Neil.
McDonalds - Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake teamed up with McDonalds years ago. He promoted the fast food chain like crazy! The chain even sponsored his European tour and helped fund his entire career. However, McDonald's food is still unhealthy fast food, no matter who is singing the song "I'm lovin' it".
Dunkin - Charli D'Amelio
Charli D'Amelio is an ultra famous TikTok star known for her dance moves. Thanks to her huge online following, she was asked to partner with Dunkin Donuts and create a signature drink. Now you can go to Dunkin Donuts and ask for "The Charli" which will get you a cold brew coffee with whole milk and three pumps of caramel sauce. Sounds a little too sweet for us.
