Anyone over the age of 60 loves low-sugar jam. There are even markets specifically for the older generations.
Low-sugar jams are also relatively cheap, so people buy them up and eat them daily. As they are pretty diverse, you'll never get bored with eating the same thing repeatedly.

We aren't exactly sure where the older generations buy these strawberry candies, but it seems as though anyone over the age of 70 has a bowl of them at home. They are a true old-soul candy. Do they taste good? Yes. But are millennials buying them? Absolutely not.

Herbal tea is slowly becoming popular, and we know we’ll rely on it just like our parents. Although most herbal teas are used in dieting regimens, they also just taste good.
Teas are delightful, flavorful, and relatively cheap, so why wouldn’t we buy them when we’re older?
Anchovies

Anyone born in more modern times will not buy anchovies. Canned fish is just strange. But old souls love anchovies. And to be fair, they are pretty healthy. Yet anchovies will always be a 60+ food. Little fish with the head still on is a hard sell for anyone else.
Fiber Cereals

Almost every person over the age of 60 will likely have a box of bland, boring, fiber-filled cereal in their grocery cart. The older generations know about the importance of dietary fiber, so they buy it in bulk! Younger people can't force themselves to eat that basic fiber cereal and tend to stick to the sugary stuff.
Prunes

Prunes are one food that you can only find in the kitchen of an old soul. There must be some unwritten rule that says people over the age of 60 need to eat prunes daily. They all just seem to do it! Prunes are pretty tasty, but you won't find anyone but your parents and grandparents buying this dried fruit.
