Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its Halloween promotion this year, offering $6 entrées to Chipotle Rewards members who show up in costume on October 31.
The Boorito event has become a popular occasion for the chain, drawing customers who look forward to its annual return. Each October, the company marks the occasion with themed activities that connect with fans and reward its most loyal customers.
What to know about the $6 entrée deal

The $6 entrée deal applies only to Chipotle Rewards members who show up in costume and scan their member ID at checkout. The offer is available in-restaurant only from 3 p.m. to close on October 31. Delivery and pickup orders placed through the app or third-party services do not qualify.
Eligible entrées include burritos, bowls, a single order of three tacos, a salad, and a quesadilla. Guests can order one discounted item per visit. Add-ons such as guacamole, queso blanco, or extra meat are charged separately. Kids’ meals and catering are excluded.
Boorito Costume contest
Chipotle launched the first Boorito in 2020, inviting diners to dress in costume for discounted meals. This year, Chipotle will once again run its Boorito Costume Contest on TikTok. From October 27 through November 2, fans who share a short video of their Halloween look with #BooritoCostumeContest on TikTok can have a chance to win a VIP Card valued at more than $500 in free food.
“Boorito started as a simple way to bring people together on Halloween, and over 25 years, it has grown to become the biggest annual celebration of our real fans and real food,” said Chris Brandt, President, Chief Brand Officer.
“Chip-or-Treat” promotions throughout October

In addition to the Halloween-night discount, Chipotle is running a month-long promotion called “Chip-or-Treat.” Through October 30, Chipotle reward members can receive offers such as free chips, guac, or even extra reward points.
How to reeem the offer
- Through October 30, Chipotle Rewards members who purchase a regular entrée either in-restaurant, on Chipotle.com, or through the app will receive an email within a few hours containing a surprise reward.
- The treat could include free guacamole, free chips, bonus points, or extra protein. Each offer is valid for five days.
- Members can qualify for one treat per week and can earn up to four treats and four digital badges during the month.
Chipotle said the campaign draws on survey findings that about 77% of adults still feel nostalgic about trick-or-treating and enjoy small seasonal perks during the Halloween month.
Build-your-own Chipotle offer
Chipotle is also promoting its new Build-Your-Own Chipotle (BYOC) meal, a digital-only family package for 4 to 6 people. The offer lets customers create their own bowls, tacos, or salads at home using the same ingredients found in restaurants.

Each order includes:
- One protein (24 oz): choice of chicken, steak, braised beef barbacoa, carnitas, or Sofritas
- One rice: choice of white rice or brown rice
- One bean: choice of black beans or pinto beans
- One premium side: choice of guac or Queso Blanco
- Choice of three salsas/toppings: sour cream, tomatillo-red chili salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa
- Shredded romaine lettuce and cheese
- Two large bags of chips
- Eight soft taco tortillas
- Forks, napkins, and bowls for six people
Guests can now add an extra eight ounces of protein to combine two types of meat. Orders are ready for pickup in about 15 minutes.
Chipotle is also offering $10 off the first BYOC order through December 31, 2025, using the code TRYBYOC, valid until 500,000 redemptions are reached. The company said the meal is intended for gatherings such as small parties or Halloween get-togethers.
Customers planning to participate should make sure they are enrolled in the Chipotle Rewards program and that their membership is linked to the app or digital wallet before visiting.
How to make the most of Boorito night
If you’re planning to stop by on Halloween, try to go early. Chipotle lines usually pick up right after 6 p.m. when people head out to parties. Keep your costume comfortable and practical; you’ll want both hands free to hold your burrito.
Make sure your Chipotle Rewards account is linked in the app before you scan your ID, or the $6 deal won’t apply. You can check this under “Account” or by pulling up your barcode at checkout.
If you’re going with friends, figure out everyone’s toppings ahead of time so you don’t hold up the line. Remember, the discount only works in person, not for delivery or pickup.

A few easy costume ideas for Boorito night:
- Burrito costume: Wrap yourself in aluminum foil or a silver emergency blanket. It’s quick, funny, and instantly recognizable. You can even tape bits of colored paper to look like salsa or lettuce.
- Guacamole fairy: Wear a green shirt or dress, hold a spoon or whisk as your “wand,” and carry a small chip bag or toy avocado if you have one.
- Work-from-home zombie: Pair pajama bottoms with a slightly wrinkled shirt, add messy hair and an empty coffee mug, and smudge a little eyeshadow under your eyes for that “I just finished a Zoom meeting” look.
- Classic ghost: Cut out two eye holes in a white sheet, wear sunglasses, and you’ll have a classic ghost outfit ready.
- Group theme: Go as a “Chipotle bowl” with friends. One person can wear green for lettuce, another in brown for rice, one in red for salsa, and one in beige or gray for the tortilla or bowl base.
You don’t need a complicated outfit; wear whatever you like to celebrate the night, have fun, and enjoy your delicious Chipotle meal!
