- 600 g Strawberries fresh or frozen
- 70 g Granulated sugar more or less depends on sweetness of the strawberries
- 15 g Lemon juice freshly squeezed
Instructions
Strawberry compote
- Cut larger strawberries into halves or use smaller whole strawberries.
- Cook the strawberries together with the sugar and lemon juice over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Taste the compote and adjust the sweetness to your liking.

- Do not skip the lemon juice, it will bring out the flavor of the strawberries.
